If you're anything like me, you enjoy saving a few coins here and there. But, it's not about being cheap. I truly enjoy finding ways to cut costs on a vacation so that I can splurge happily on other parts of my vacation and our stay at Atlantis, Bahamas was no different!
Matter of fact, because the Atlantis is a pretty pricey resort, here are a few things to keep you busy without breaking the bank:
1. Explore The Aquaventure Water Park
This is without a doubt the main attraction - after all, it is the largest water park in the Caribbean. You can spend an entire day floating on inner tubes through a quarter-mile loop (Lazy River) guided by a gentle current. Or try being propelled through a mile-long river with rolling waves (The Current).
If you're into thrills, be sure to try out the waterslides - with the Leap of Faith, The Abyss, The Surge, and The Drop being among the scariest of them all. And for those who just want to relax, there are a variety of pools to satisfy every type of Caribbean vacationer!

2. Enjoy Self Guided Tours Throughout the Marine Exhibits
The entire resort is one massive marine exhibit and it's simply mindblowing to be able to experience such an extraordinary collection of marine habitats and marine exhibits - for free!
3. Jumpstart Your Day At The Fitness Center
The fitness center at the Atlantis was a pleasant highlight while we stayed at the resort. This state of the art facility also offers a range of classes (a lot of which a free) that you can take part in during your Bahamas vacation. Visit the gym and sign up for some free classes beforehand and jumpstart your day!
4. Take A Complimentary Gaming Lesson at The Atlantis Casino
Yet another major attraction at the resort, you can experience the rush of the casino without the chance of losing any money!
5. For Bragging Rights Attempt To Complete The Atlantis Bucket List
Who doesn't love a bucket list?! Well, one thing's for sure - I do! It's a great way to ensure you do as much as possible while at the resort (rather than lazy around the pool).
6. Let's Go Window Shopping
You really don't need to go far to experience some of the world's finest luxury stores and the cherry on the cake is that it's all duty-free!
7. Catch A Movie At The Atlantis Theatre
This is certainly one of those activities where you can unwind after a long day of activities.
The hotel is great at giving their guests information regarding any free activities during your stay but it requires you to thoroughly look through the information provided to find what best suits you.
